I met āa lighthouseā in a school I visited recently š”. We are being funded to visit primary schools in Tameside and Glossop to run Worry Wizard sessions š«. We are having lots of fun š¤©.
After one session, a student came up to me.
āCan I say something to you, miss?ā she said.
āOf course,ā I replied.
āI just want to say that when I grow up, I want to be just like you. I know I am not grown up yet so Iām going to just try to be a little like you for now.ā ā¤ļøš§”ššššš
My heart nearly burst. What a beautiful thing to say. But the fact that she found the mighty amount of Courage to share it with me, simply incredible š.
It made me thinkā¦how often do I have things to share that may help those near to me that I donāt share because I start to wonder⦠should I say it? Is now the right time? (so many wonderingsā¦)
From this point forwards, I am going to try to be more like my mightily courageous lighthouse Worry Wizard š”š§āāļø. She shone her light in such a friendly way and it definitely helped me š„°.
