These words from the poem, ‘The Invitation’, resonate so strongly right now. I’m looking forward to sharing them this morning during Reuben's Retreat ‘Coffee Connect’ zoom call. I’ve been invited by Reuben’s wonderful Mummy, Nicola Graham, to lead a session called ‘Holding Hope’ with families who are at home staying safe (12 weeks isolation). I’m going to share these words with some wonderful people today. You may wish to do the same. ♥️ Reuben’s Retreat is a home-from-home for families bereaved of a child and for children with life limiting or threatening conditions and their parents and siblings. They walk side-by-side with individuals to whole families so they are not alone, providing support that is specific to their needs including therapeutic activities, counselling, drop-in and peer support groups, plus fun times, memory making and short breaks.
