It’s been a while since I shared a little hello here. I also wanted to say a big thank you to each of you for being part of The Worry Wizard’s adventure. I’m so glad to have you with us.
This photo popped up in my memories this morning and made me smile. For those of you who don’t know, my name’s Amy and I am the founder of, and Chief Storyteller at, The Worry Wizard. Our mission is to nurture emotional connection between children, young people and adults enabling the move from Worries to Wellbeing. In school 🏫, at home 🏡, in the Community 💞. I remember how emotionally connected I felt to my eldest son in this moment. This is 7 years ago me and we were reading a story together about a superhero family. It reminds me of something I frequently say to children and young people, that life is too serious not to be silly. Life feels so serious in so many ways right now. There is a huge need for silly. I don’t think I’ll be wearing my pants outside my trousers today (though never say never!) but I do have my Action Pants firmly on. Our children need us to help them learn how to support their Wellbeing, possibly now more than ever, and The Worry Wizard is right here to help children do just that. I wish you lots of moments of silly with your children this week.
